Småfolk was created based on a clear mission to design clothes that inspire children's imagination and creativity and that have room for movement and play. In short: Småfolk are clothes that children can live and play in.
Småfolk are known for their colorful and whimsical universe, where the children are the focus. Children love colors and fun prints - and Småfolk definitely does too! That's why there's always plenty of happy colors and a large selection of different prints in their collections. The children easily find their favorite print, whether they love machines, flowers, cats or dinosaurs.
Each print in the Småfolk universe has a story, but the story changes and comes alive together with the children. Parents state again and again that a particular blouse or dress has become the children's favorite - because the children create stories from the clothes.
Children tumble, crawl, jump, dance and climb trees. Småfolk clothes are always comfortable for the children to wear and are made for play (and often become part of the play as well). The different designs from Småfolk are always carefully adapted to the different needs of children and offer a perfect fit that ensures the child's freedom of movement.
Danish design
Småfolk was founded in Denmark in 2004 and has since become an internationally recognized brand, with dealers all over the world. An important part of their DNA is their unique prints, which their own really talented in-house designers themselves draw with inspiration from the children.
There is an enormous emphasis on quality and comfort, and Småfolk were some of the first in Denmark to introduce children's clothing in organic materials. To ensure that the clothes last season after season, it is important for them to create timeless designs and choose high-quality materials that help extend the life of the clothes.
Carefully selected materials
The materials are chosen based on what best suits the product's design and function. And they always get certificates for our organic metered goods from our suppliers to ensure that these are materials that they can vouch for. It has always been important for Småfolk to only use materials that make sense for their products and customers.
Organic cotton is the primary material used in their products.
All their products are of course Oeko-Tex certified, so you can always be sure that the collections from Småfolk are safe, skin-friendly and not harmful for your children to wear.
